Kolbackens campsite
Our campsite is a small-scale, quiet campsite.
Our campsite offers around 15 pitches for motorhomes, and of course caravans and tents are also very welcome. Guests can enjoy our shared garden with furniture (in the summar), a play area for children, as well as a cozy barbecue hut and a covered grill area by the lake.
Our modern and heated sanitary building includes showers, toilets, and dishwashing facilities. Washing and drying machines are available for 50 SEK per use.
During your stay, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable visit, including stations for emptying grey water and chemical toilets, as well as fresh water refill points. Free Wi-Fi is available across the entire campsite.
Dogs are very welcome, but please keep them on a leash while on the campsite.

About the campsite and surrounding area
Kolbackens Camping & Stugby is open all year round. Åsarnas village center and all its amenities is within walking distance. Here you will find, among other things, a supermarket, pizzaria, restaurant with breakfast options, and gas station.
In summer, you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings by hiking or cycling. You can also explore the area from the water by SUP boarding or rowing boat, and it’s possible to fish or swim in the lake. There are also various waterfalls to visit in the area; more information about these can be obtained at the reception.
In winter, the surroundings transform into a magical landscape with plenty to experience. Åsarna is known for cross-country skiing and Nordic skiing, which you can practice in the village at the top of the hill. Furthermore, there are various ski areas in the region, with the nearest ski resort located approximately 20 km away.
Through partnerships, we can offer various winter activities such as dog sledding and snowmobile safaris.
