Welcome to
Kolbackens Camping & Stugby in Åsarna Jämtland is a small-scale, family-owned campsite near mountains and lakes.
Kolbackens Camping & Stugby is open all year round and offers modern services, cottages and apartments. We are located a stone’s throw from E 45 road and Lake Hålen. Åsarna with all amenities is within walking distance. Here you will find a supermarket, service station and various restaurants where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
About the campsite
Our campsite is a small, quiet campsite with approximately 15 camper pitches, caravans and tents are of course also very welcome. Guests can enjoy our shared garden with furniture (in the summar), a play area for children, as well as a cozy barbecue hut and a covered grill area by the lake. On the campsite there is a sanitary building with shower, toilet and the possibility to do the dishes, this space is heated.

Cottages
Kolbacken Stugby & Camping is beautifully and peacefully located in Åsarna Jämtland. All guests have access to the garden, a shared lounge and barbecue facilities. Our cottages feature a terrace or patio with lake and garden views. The cottages are air-conditioned and feature a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen has a refrigerator, microwave, stove and kettle.
About us
We are Martijn and Monique Lamers and together with our daughter Marieke and her husband Bart and their two children, we immigrated from the Netherlands to Sweden in the summer of 2024. We started the adventure together and are now making our dream come true.
Our goal is to make our guests feel comfortable att our campsite and make their special holiday even more special.

During 1.5 hours you will receive help trying out equipment and a beginner’s course in cross-country skiing.

In winter the surroundings are a magical place where everything is located. Åsarna is known for cross-country skiing, it is just in the field above the hill. Klövsjö / Vemdalen ski areas are only 20 km away.
Through collaboration we can also offer various winter activities such as; dog sledding, snowmobile safari, ice climbing and ioce fishing.
In summer you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings by hiking or cycling. You can also explore the area from the water with a SUP-board or rowing boat. You can fish or swim in the lake. There are several waterfalls to visit in the area.
