Kolbackens campsite
Our campsite is a small-scale, quiet campsite.
The campsite has space for approximately 15 motorhome pitches, and caravans and tents are of course also very welcome. At the campsite, you can use the sanitary building, which includes a clean shower, toilet, and dishwashing facilities. This area is heated. You can wash and dry for 50 SEK each per use.
During your stay at the campsite, there are facilities to dispose of grey water, refill fresh water, and empty chemical toilets. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire campsite. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash while on the campsite.

About the campsite and surrounding area
Kolbackens Camping & Stugby is open all year round. Åsarnas village center and all its amenities is within walking distance. Here you will find, among other things, a supermarket, pizzaria, restaurant with breakfast options, and gas station.
In summer, you can enjoy the picturesque surroundings by hiking or cycling. You can also explore the area from the water by SUP boarding or rowing boat, and it’s possible to fish or swim in the lake. There are also various waterfalls to visit in the area; more information about these can be obtained at the reception.
In winter, the surroundings transform into a magical landscape with plenty to experience. Åsarna is known for cross-country skiing and Nordic skiing, which you can practice in the village at the top of the hill. Furthermore, there are various ski areas in the region, with the nearest ski resort located approximately 20 km away.
Through partnerships, we can offer various winter activities such as dog sledding, snowmobile safaris, ice climbing, and snowshoeing in deep snow.
